What Can Reflexology Do For You?

Reflexology is a non-invasive, complementary holistic therapy, in which the feet are manipulated to open nerve and circulation pathways to promote self healing and assist in bringing the body, mind, and spirit into balance. Reflexology is deeply relaxing, increases circulation, reduces swelling, decreases pain, and boosts the immune system. The entire body including all organs, glands, and the skeletal system can be accessed and stimulated through the feet.

What Can You Expect During a Reflexology Session?

Following a brief medical history intake, your feet will be treated to a warm, relaxing, aromatic whirlpool bath. You will then recline upon a warm, inviting, massage table where your legs and feet will be comfortably elevated. Your feet will be assessed. Using fingertips and thumbs, gentle, but firm pressure will be applied to the various reflex points of your feet. Most clients become so relaxed that they experience a light, rejuvenating sleep. Warm towels are wrapped around each foot alternately during the session. You can expect the entire session to take place in an hour.
